GenRyu Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that builds community through the arts. Our programs include:

  • Taiko, shamisen, and odori classes for children and adults
  • Japan Week and other public festivals
  • Studio Gen art shows and workshops

Art Workshops

April 25 – May 10
Make a sashiko bag, kokedama plant, lavender sachet, flower press, or hair ornament at our hands-on workshops.

Midori no Hi Festival

May 10, 1:30-4:30 pm
Enjoy taiko drumming, odori dancing, shamisen music, plant swap, and a dance parade to celebrate nature.
